Tudors test in new friendly

Fleet will face Hemel Hempstead Town at Vauxhall Road on Saturday, July 20th, as Garry Hill added another friendly to his side’s summer schedule.

The game kicks off at 3.00pm and comes in between Fleet’s two home games against Charlton Athletic (16th July) and Brighton & Hove Albion (26th July).

It will be our first appearance at Hemel since our 2017/18 promotion season when we drew 1-1 with the Tudors.

Under the new management of former Dover and AFC Wimbledon player Sammy Moore, the Tudors have invested strongly over the summer and are good bets to be among the National League South promotion hopefuls.

Among the Hemel players with a Fleet connection are Craig Braham-Barrett, ex-loanee Jake Howells and former trialist Liam Nash, although familiar faces Joe Howe and Jordan Parkes both departed at the end of last season.
