There have been two adjusted dates for the Fleet’s pre-season games, with matches at Punjab United and Sittingbourne having new dates of Saturday 1 July and Tuesday 11 July respectively.
Dennis Kutrieb’s squad will be put through their paces against a range of opposition as ever designed to give the Fleet players the best preparation for the league campaign ahead.
The summer schedule kicks off on Saturday, 1 July (KO 10.45am) in traditional manner with a local visit to Punjab United’s Steve Cook Stadium, where the Fleet will take on the SCEFL Premier Division side and reigning Kent Senior Trophy holders.
We stay in Kent for our next two away friendlies, visiting Tonbridge Angels on Friday, July 7th (KO 7.45pm) and Sittingbourne on Tuesday, July 11th (KO 7.45pm).
Our first home friendly sees a return for League Two Colchester United after an entertaining 2-2 draw here last season. That’s on Saturday, July 15th (KO 1.00pm). A clash of champions follows as League One newboys, fresh from winning League Two, Leyton Orient come to the Kuflink Stadium on Wednesday, July 19th (KO 7.45pm).
National League South play-off finalists St Albans City host us at Clarence Park on Saturday, July 22nd (KO 3.00pm) before the curtain comes down at the Kuflink Stadium with two mouth-watering games against the cream of London’s young crop – new Europa Conference League champions West Ham United’s development squad are in town on Tuesday, July 25th (KO. 745pm) followed by Chelsea’s U21’s – who have just finished third in Premier League 2 – on Saturday, July 29th (KO. 3.00pm).
