Ebbsfleet United are saddened to hear of the passing of Paul Wood, 58, this week after a short illness.
Paul was managing director of Sykes Pumps who have been regular matchday sponsors in recent years and whose logo adorns the Fleet dugouts as well as perimeter advertising hoardings around the ground.
Paul and his team at Sykes Pumps have visited the Kuflink Stadium on numerous occasions for matches and business since they first agreed a commercial sponsorship package with the Fleet in 2013.
Paul worked for the Andrews Sykes Group since leaving school in 1978, rising to the top of the business to become MD.
All of us at Ebbsfleet offer our sincere sympathies to Paul’s family, friends and colleagues at this time and it goes without saying how much we as a club valued his considerable support and friendship over the past seven years.
