Ebbsfleet Development Corporation (EDC) is hosting a planning meeting at the Kuflink Stadium this Saturday (June 23rd) from 10am – 2pm and Fleet fans attending will get the chance for an exclusive tour of the new Main Stand facilities.
EDC is working with Gravesham Borough Council and Kent County Council to create new homes for local residents as part of a regeneration of the area surrounding the football club, in particular the Grove Road/Northfleet Riverside area.
The draft masterplan for the new riverside residential quarter includes up to 980 new homes, up to a third of which will be affordable housing, restaurants, employment space, new and improved roads, public transport, a new park and better access to the riverside.
EDC is now embarking on a number of public consultations, one of which takes place at the Fleet’s stadium.
The event will be staffed by Gravesham Borough Council, the EDC and consultants Arup. And what’s more, there’s free fruit on hand for our younger visitors and your chance to win a healthy food hamper!
