Fleet winger Sean Shields is to join Boreham Wood on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, recently returned from a month’s stay with Maidstone United, met Wood manager Luke Garrard to sign on at Meadow Park until the end of April.
Shields, who joined the club in December 2014 initially on loan from Dagenham & Redbridge, has featured 19 times this season, scoring three times. In all, he has played 131 times for the Fleet, adding 17 goals in total. He has the chance to face his old club tomorrow as Boreham Wood travel to Dagenham in the Vanarama National League.
