A visit from Southend United is the first pre-season friendly confirmed for Dennis Kutrieb’s squad this coming summer.
The Essex club will visit the Kuflink Stadium on Saturday, August 7th, for a 3.00pm kick-off. Managed by Phil Brown, the Shrimpers will be looking to bounce back into League Two at the first time of asking following their relegation to the National League at the end of 2020/21.
The two clubs met in a training match back in March which finished 1-1 and Southend have been previous pre-season visitors to our ground (pictured above) in the recent past.
The Fleet are busy confirming a number of pre-season matches and we will furnish supporters with a schedule of those very soon. Attendance with fans will be confirmed nearer the time of friendly matches and will depend on government and FA guidelines at the time.
