Sam Deering move to Billericay confirmed

Ebbsfleet United can confirm that midfielder Sam Deering has joined Billericay Town after his contract expired at the end of June.

Sam was instrumental in our promotion season in 2016/17 and was involved in both goals that saw Fleet defeat Chelmsford City in the promotion final. His other highlights last season included the first-minute goal from the halfway line versus St Albans City – and everyone at the club wishes to thank Sam for his contribution to our success.

Sam moved to the Fleet from Whitehawk in March 2016 and played 55 times in total, scoring eight goals.

The Fleet did offer Sam a new contract but he has decided to continue his career with Billericay; all at the club, and we are sure on the terraces, wish him all the best for the future.
