The Fleet are delighted to announce this Saturday’s fixture will now take place against West Ham United’s U23 side. The Premier League club’s talented outfit will travel to the Kuflink Stadium for a 2.00pm kick-off.
West Ham’s U23 squad contains a wealth of young talent, many of whom have represented the likes of England, Scotland, Ireland, Denmark and Portugal at youth/U21 level. It will prove to be a very strong challenge for Dennis Kutrieb’s squad as the Fleet’s home ground prepares to welcome our fans back for the first time since February 2020.
If you have previously bought tickets for the Gillingham game, these remain valid.
We are still under existing lockdown conditions so capacity at the ground and within each stand is restricted to limits imposed by the Safety Advisory Group. So advance tickets are the best way of ensuring a seat in any of our three seated stands or a space at the Swanscombe End – ticket purchases can be made at the link below.
The Fleet would like to thank everyone at West Ham United for their co-operation in getting this excellent fixture arranged at such short notice – our originally scheduled game versus Gillingham XI was cancelled due to the visitors’ positive Covid cases within their first-team squad, so to be able to invite the Hammers to the Kuflink Stadium is a fantastic outcome for the club and our supporters.
Car-parking is available at Ebbsfleet International Car Park C for £3. Please have the correct change if possible to aid our parking staff. Please note that the areas near to Northfleet Station, namely Railway Street and Hamerton Road, have become resident/permit-only parking and non-valid vehicles will be ticketed.
The area on Thamesway before the roundabout as you approach the Kuflink Stadium is a designated clearway and you are advised not to park here because of the risk of being ticketed.
