Fleet offer sports science internships for 2021/22 season

Ebbsfleet United is offering 2nd and 3rd year university students the valuable opportunity for placements at the club for those looking to further their experience in Sport Therapy, Sport Massage and Sport Science.

Successful candidate(s) will gain valuable hands-on experience, where they will benefit from day-to-day interaction with professional athletes, under the guidance of an ever-growing medical department.

Qualities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Confident, ambitious and trustworthy with the ability to adapt and assist in daily activities 
Ability to drive
Pro-active attitude and experience under guidance of professional medical performance staff 

Responsibilities:
Pre- and post-match/training treatments (Sport Therapy & Massage)
Taping (Sport Therapy)
Fitness testing and GPS stats (Sport Science)
Assisting with rehabilitation and injury assessment (Sport Therapy and Massage)
Assist with training and warm-ups (Sport Science)
House cleaning of the medical department (Sport Therapy, Massage and Sport Science) 

What we ask for:
2nd/3rd year university student 
Understanding and knowledge of sports injuries 
First aid 
Basic treatment understanding 
Full driving licence 
Two references from university and current/previous employers
