Fleet face Fleet(wood) in Round Two tie

The Fleet will host Fleetwood Town for only the second time in our history after being paired with the League One club in tonight’s Emirates FA Cup draw.

It is Dennis Kutrieb’s side’s fourth home tie in this season’s competition after seeing off Dover, Sevenoaks Town and FC Halifax Town at the Kuflink Stadium already. Fleetwood made Round Two by beating our fellow Vanarama National South club Oxford City in the First Round.

We had one season together with Fleetwood Town in the Blue Sq Premier during the 2011/12 season when the Lancashire side were promoted as champions. They did the double over us that season, winning 3-1 at Stonebridge Road and 6-2 at the Highbury Stadium, where Jamie Vardy scored a hat-trick!

Managed by former Celtic legend Scott Brown, the Cod Army are currently 15th in League One where they have played for nine seasons.

More information about ticketing will be forthcoming as soon as details have been confirmed. We would ask supporters to be patient as all parties involved including safety groups need to be contacted and any potential TV coverage and schedule communicated.
