Neil’s the ninth man in Daish’s plan

NEIL BARRETT COMMITS AS FLEET’S CONTRACT RENEWALS APPROACH DOUBLE FIGURES…

Hot on the heels of Paul McCarthy and Mark Ricketts signing contracts at Ebbsfleet United, former Portsmouth and Livingston midfielder Neil Barrett has confirmed his place in the squad for next season by signing a one-year extension and becoming the ninth Fleet player definitely confirmed for season 2008-09. The 26-year-old Wembley winner made 44 appearances last term despite missing a large part of the start of the season after an injury at Salisbury.

Barrett commented: “I am delighted to
have signed for a further year, I am looking forward to getting started and I am
missing training already!”

Other Fleet players are still in negotiations with the club and further details will be released as and when contracts are signed.
