MyFootballClub’s short-story competition nets Wembley prizes for local schoolchildren…
A short-story competition inspired by MyFootballClub member Paul Farrant has resulted in dozens of children taking the time to send in entries in
the hope of winning tickets to the FA Trophy final. Only two could be
crowned champions. The standard was high, and a panel of short-listing
judges eventually narrowed the field down to just six stories – three
in each category of ‘Under 11s’ and ’11 and over’.
MyFC members voted
over five days, and the winners have been chosen. Over 1,000 people took time to read the six stories, and vote for their
favourites.
The results were incredibly close, especially in the 11+ category and the winners are:
