Cliff Robinson’s funeral will take place on Monday, November 7th. The procession will depart from 1 Kingsdown Close, DA12 2LU at 2pm, past the Fleet ground on Stonebridge Road for a last farewell and on to Thamesview Crematorium for a 3pm service. Following that, people are welcome to attend Cliff’s wake which will be held at the Kuflink Stadium. A collection box at the service and wake will be accepting donations for the ITU unit at Darent Valley Hospital.
It was with great sadness that we reported the passing of the Fleet supporter of many years and dear friend to so many at Stonebridge Road last month.
Cliff’s death came as a great shock to all of us in the club and amongst our wider Fleet family and community.
He was a stalwart supporter going back many years as a volunteer and regular away traveller, including being one of “the few” who made it to Barrow on that long and epic nighttime trip nine years ago.
The club published a tribute to Cliff in our matchday programme v Welling United and we joined with all our staff and supporters to extend our deepest sympathies to Cliff’s wife Sue and all his family.
