Tonight’s match in the Preliminary Round of the FA Youth Cup between the Fleet’s academy and Kent Football United is off with the FA Competition Office declaring the result a walkover in favour of Ebbsfleet United.
Kent Football United’s senior men’s team has been forced to withdraw from the FA Vase and this means that in accordance with FA rules, the club is no longer eligible to participate in the FA Youth Cup. Kent Football United has also withdrawn from the SCEFL this season.
Fleet’s Academy side now receive a bye to the next stage of the FA Youth Cup and will take their place in the First Qualifying Round draw.
