Ebbsfleet United’s Walking Football teams are looking for additional players in the Over 60s category.
The club’s walking football side was established following trials in 2016. Since then they have entered teams each season in the Kent Walking Football League in both the Over 50s and Over 60s competitions, as well as entering cup competitions such as the People’s FA Cup and other tournaments.
The squad has been operating as two Over 50s teams in recent years – Ebbsfleet United Greens and Reds.
However, given the current age profile of the Reds, it has now been decided they will transition to an Over 60s team.
The Reds will continue to play in the Kent Over 60s League and other one-off competitions and friendlies.
Following some recent retirements, however, they need a few more players to bolster the team. So if you are 60-plus and fancy playing for the Fleet, then please email your details to info@eufc.co.uk and you will be contacted. Goalkeepers are especially welcome!
