Ebbsfleet United has placement opportunities available for the 2024/2025 season, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of sport therapy, strength and conditioning, data analysis and sport psychology.
Successful candidates will work closely with the team throughout the week providing support to the club’s men’s and women’s first-team staff.
The placement opportunities are open to second year students who are going in a placement year on their university course or those that are recently graduated.
Responsibilities:
• Providing support with GPS data and reports
• Assist with regular gym strengthening sessions
• Assist with injury assessment and rehab programming
• Provide support to the team with training and matchday set up
• Work alongside data analysis for match day prep and recording of sessions
This is a full time internship, spanning over a 4-day training week and weekend games, therefore weekend availability will be required. On occasion, day travel and overnight travel for away matches may be required. Please note that some fixtures are scheduled and could be moved to weeknights.
The placement is based at the Kuflink Stadium, as well as the training ground.
Essential requirements:
• Current or recent graduate from a sports disciplined degree (sport science, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, rehabilitation etc)
• Understanding of software such as Hudl
• Competent in IT skills
• Interest in football and potential career avenues in this field
• Commitment through to May 2025
Preferrable requirements:
• Hold a full driving licence and the ability to travel between locations
