Salisbury await replay winners

Ebbsfleet United or Dartford were drawn away to Salisbury City in the First Round of the FA Cup, with that tie to take place over the weekend of November 9/10.

Should Fleet prevail in Tuesday’s replay, it would rekindle memories of last season’s Conference South play-off final for many of the Ebbsfleet squad who lost at Salisbury while playing for Dover Athletic.

The Fleet and Salisbury have met 30 times down the years, but never in a cup tie. The last meeting was a 3-1 defeat for the Fleet at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium in April 2010.

Salisbury currently lie sixth in the Skrill Premier and beat Bath City 1-0 on Saturday to progress to the First Round. Their playing squad includes Fleet’s FA Trophy Final goalscorer Chris McPhee.

Please note, in regards to Tuesday’s replay, the decision about any advance tickets will be made by Dartford FC and we will have details on the website and Twitter as soon as it is available, though the likelihood is that the game will be pay on the gate.
