Jack Paxman has joined Braintree Town on loan for a month and will go straight into their squad for tonight’s match against Oxford City.
The 28-year-old Fleet midfielder will take part in the Iron’s upcoming fixtures including games against Farnborough, his former club Chelmsford City and Chippenham Town.
Angelo Harrop’s side are currently in sixth place as they enjoy a much better campaign this season – and, as with Ellliott Romain’s loan at Hemel, this will offer Paxman the opportunity for regular game time going into the New Year to maintain match fitness and sharpness ahead of Fleet’s run-in to the second-half of the season in 2023.
