N’Guessan expressing himself once more

It’s a warm welcome back to the Fleet as midfielder Christian N’Guessan becomes the latest player to agree a new deal at the Kuflink Stadium.

The 23-year-old made 30 appearances for the Fleet last season despite sustaining an injury early on in the campaign at Chelmsford that kept him out for three months. The former Burnley development player returned to action earlier than expected to cement a place in Dennis Kutrieb’s side through to the play-offs and promotion final.

N’Guessan caught the eye with a series of calm, polished displays in the middle of the park in his first season in National League South which drew him attention from plenty of admirers.

Having been at Blackpool before his three-year spell at Turf Moor, N’Guessan also gained senior experience in non-league with Bamber Bridge and then in the EFL with Oldham Athletic.

And now with a full season of regular football behind him, N’Guessan takes the lessons learned, hard work and impressive development into another season with the Fleet!
