Lincoln City 1 Fleet 1

Having netted his first Fleet goal against Lincoln City last season, Liam Bellamy came off the bench to repeat the trick and earn his side a well-deserved point at Sincil Bank.

Liam Daish kept faith with the starting side – and formation – that lost at home to Luton Town, meaning the previously suspended Bellamy started as substitute while new goalkeeper Lucas Menz joined him.

But Fleet’s preparations went to the wall inside three minutes of kick-off when former Dover man Nicky Nicolau took on Alan Power’s pass from the halfway line, cut inside and hit a low left-foot shot that squirmed in beneath Preston Edwards.
