Kieran’s running with the Reds once more

Midfielder Kieran Monlouis will be back when the Fleet squad report in for pre-season training as he signed a new deal to keep him at the club through 2022/23.

The 27-year-old St Lucia international scored on his debut for the Fleet when he came off the bench to strike the winner at Aylesbury United in last season’s Emirates FA Cup.

He added a second goal for the club with the opener in a 3-1 win against Oxford City in March but saw his season cut short by an injury at Braintree Town just a few days later.

The athletic midfielder was, however, back in training by the end of the season and will step into the new campaign at full fitness.

Monlouis was brought to the club on trial for a series of friendlies at the end of 2020/21, signing last summer after departing Horsham. He has previous National South experience with St Albans City, Hemel Hempstead Town and Dulwich Hamlet while also having turned out for Maldon & Tiptree and Margate.
