Historic deal gives Fleet ground security and option to buy Stonebridge Road…
Ebbsfleet United are delighted to announce that we have put the seal on a deal that we believe secures the long-term future of the football club at Stonebridge Road with the assistance of Gravesham Borough Council (GBC). Following negotiations that concluded last night (Wednesday), GBC will today (Thursday) exchange on the purchase of Stonebridge Road with Land Securities.
This will obviously mean the ground will not go to public auction on 21 September. The deal the club has agreed with GBC means the council will purchase the ground and will grant Ebbsfleet United FC a lease which gives the club security of tenure and a peppercorn rent of
