Fleet bid farewell to the fans’ number one

A look back at the Fleet career of Gillingham-bound Lance Cronin…

As expected, Ebbsfleet United’s goalkeeper for the last four seasons, Lance Cronin, has signed a year’s contract with Gillingham with an option on a further year.

The 24-year-old, who joined the club in August 2006, had been training with the League Two club for much of the summer following the Fleet’s relegation from Blue Square Premier and the associated budget cuts since.

In four seasons, Lance played 198 games in all competition for the Fleet.
