Elliott Romain has returned to former club Eastbourne Borough on a 28-day loan as he ramps up his match fitness ahead of a return to the Fleet squad.
The striker, 30, who played in last season’s promotion final, signed a new contract this summer.
He featured in the early part of Fleet’s summer friendlies but only gained a few minutes over the second half of that programme and will gain valuable playing time back at Priory Lane over the coming four weeks.
We wish Elliott all the very best in what will be his third spell at Eastbourne, having played for them from 2015–17 and again in 2019/20 and we look forward to welcoming him back to the side on the completion of his stay back on the south coast.
