The Fleet have been drawn at home to fellow BSBP side Hereford United in the FA Trophy First Round proper, with the game to take place on Saturday, November 24 – a month before the two clubs meet at Stonebridge Road in the league.
Fleet last played the Bulls at home in March 2006, losing 2-1. The two sides have faced each other 45 times since 1946 – but only once before in a cup tie, that being 1948’s Southern League Cup, which Fleet again lost 2-1 at home. Our most recent meeting, at Edgar Street in August, ended in a 4-2 defeat.
