Ebbsfleet United can confirm that striker Alex Reid’s loan period has not been extended and, with the expiry of the original deal passed this weekend, he has returned to parent club Stevenage.
Alex – who played in AFC Fylde’s play-offs and FA Trophy campaign last season – arrived in late August, making his debut as a substitute against Aldershot Town.
He played 25 times in total for the Fleet, scoring eight goals in all competitions, five of them in the Vanarama National League.
