Shaq part of Fleet pack for new season

Shaq Coulthirst is the latest player to commit to the Fleet for 2022/23 as the striker who joined for the last three months of last season extends his stay at the Kuflink Stadium.

Coulthirst, 27, made his debut in the 5-0 win over St Albans City and appeared 19 times in all competitions as he featured heavily in the Fleet’s run to the promotion final. He scored five goals and provided four assists in the three months after signing from Billericay Town in February.

Coulthirst has played most of his career at a higher level, having starred for Tottenham’s youth teams and in Barnet’s FA Cup run to Round 4 of 2018/19.

The London-born forward has also played in the EFL with the likes of Southend United, York City, Peterborough United and Mansfield Town, while also earning National League experience most recently with Boreham Wood.
