Second seasonal match falls to postponement

Our second Kent derby of the festive season – v Welling United, scheduled for Monday December 28th – has been postponed following positive Covid cases at Park View Road.

Welling United issued a statement on Christmas Day saying that, “The Club have today been notified that one of the WUFC camp has tested positive for COVID-19. The entire playing squad and management team have entered a 10-day period of self-isolation as instructed by The National League, taking the advice of Public Health England and the League Medical Officer.”

As such, Welling’s next three games are postponed, including at home to the Fleet. As a reminder, our Boxing Day game at home to Dartford was also postponed.

We will advertise any new dates as soon as they have been agreed between the league and clubs.

Currently, our next Vanarama National League South match is scheduled to be played on Saturday, January 2nd at Princes Park v Dartford.
