Recalled Mekki returns to Ravens

Loanee midfielder Adam Mekki has this week returned to parent club Bromley.

The 28-year-old wide player arrived at the Fleet on a loan until the end of the season in January but Bromley have exercised their recall right to bring Adam back to Hayes Lane.

Following a run of adverse form, Bromley are seeking to get their play-off challenge back in gear and they have just lost Aaron Rowe, who has returned to parent club Huddersfield Town. Bromley, of course, provide the next opposition at the Kuflink Stadium on March 21st when Adam may well line up against the Fleet.

Adam made his debut from the bench against Harrogate Town and featured eight times in all in a Fleet shirt, his standout performance coming in the win at Maidenhead where he provided two assists for Josh Umerah and Gozie Ugwu.

Everyone at the Fleet would like to thank both Adam for all his efforts for the club and Bromley FC for enabling the original deal. He has been an excellent professional in his time here and we wish him the very best of luck for the future.
