Due to the deluge of rain on Friday, Ebbsfleet United’s home match against Bishop’s Stortford is in doubt should further bad weather occur overnight.
The photo, right, shows the Stonebridge Road pitch early on Friday morning – much of this surface water has been cleared by a combination of our drainage systems and the considerable efforts of ground staff and the pitch is looking much better at the moment as a result.
We still hope tomorrow’s game can go ahead but further heavy rain will threaten the chances of that and fans should keep an eye out for announcements early Saturday morning when the pitch will again be assessed.
