Work on the Kuflink Stadium’s pitch has got under way within the first week of the close season.
The club has started early on pitch regeneration well ahead of the 2019/20 season, with the initial work commencing today and continuing all week.
Fleet’s managing director Dave Archer said, “We wanted to start work on the playing surface as early as possible this year to ensure the pitch was in great nick for our opening three friendly matches against EFL opposition. Our Head Groundsman James Hare is organising the whole pitch regeneration and he wanted to get on with an early start – and you can’t get much earlier than the first week after the end of the season!”
