Ebbsfleet United are hugely saddened to learn of the death of supporter Paul Saunders.
As a club staff and wider supporters’ family, the Fleet echo the words of Supporters Trust chairman John Burgess who said, “It is with great sadness that I have to inform members of the Fleet Supporters’ Trust and all supporters of the passing of Paul. We offer our deepest condolences to Sandra, Josh and all the family at this sad time.”
Paul’s wife Sandra is the Trust’s vice chair and the club sends all our deepest sympathies and best wishes to the Saunders family at this sad time.
Together Paul – who helped sell the matchday Golden Goal tickets – and Sandra, supporters since the late Sixties, have probably travelled many thousands of miles in support of their club and the Fleet really have lost one of our own in Paul.
