Mitsubishi Electric magic

Ebbsfleet United announced this afternoon that it has signed a club record deal with Mitsubishi Electric to be the new Principal Sponsor for next season.

Steve Fleming of Mitsubishi Electric said, “We watched last night’s fantastic win over Bromley and are delighted to have been given the opportunity to support a growing club with such a great, family-run atmosphere. We loved the feel of the place and it is obvious Ebbsfleet United FC are going places.

“The ethos at the club fits very much with the approach we adopt at Mitsubishi Electric, where we try to treat our employees and our customers as part of the family. We hope our support can help Ebbsfleet become even more of an integral part of the community as the area develops and the fan base grows. I’m also full of hope for the second leg at Bromley this weekend, the subsequent final and promotion to the Conference Premier – come on the Fleet!”

Vice Chairman Peter Varney, “We are delighted to be supported by such a well known brand as Mitsubishi Electric. This deal for them to become the club’s Principal Sponsor demonstrates how far we have come as a football club both on and off the field and the deal is on a par with many Football League Championship clubs.

“We look forward to working with Steve Fleming and his team to our mutual benefit. I would like to thank both PHB Construction Ltd and Middleton Murray for their support as home and away shirt sponsors this season and we are in discussion with both companies and hope that the existing brilliant relationships will continue into next season in another form.”

As viewable in the pictures above and below, the Mitsubishi Electric deal sees new home and away shirts for the 2014-15 season, produced by existing kit manufacturer Macron. These will be available in the club shop and online from around mid-June.
