KEH Sports’ offer goes unconditional and winding-up petition withdrawn

The Directors of KEH Sports Limited are delighted to announce that as at 30th May 2013 its formal offer for the shares in Ebbsfleet United Football Club Limited has been accepted by 98.24% of all voting shareholders of EUFC. This means the acceptance level set by KEH Sports, for the offer to be treated as unconditional, has been met.

In addition, as part of KEH Sport’s deal to purchase the business and assets of Fleet Leisure, the winding-up petition filed by the Administrators of Fleet Leisure Limited against EUFC has been withdrawn from the list of the Companies Court, paving the way for the legal completion of the sale of the Club to KEH Sports and of the Fleet Leisure business.

Formal legal completion of the Club’s share sale will take place either Friday 31st May 2013 or Monday, 3rd June 2013, when all proceeds of sale and loan repayments will be transferred by KEH Sports. The Directors of KEH Sports Limited would like to thank the Directors of the Club for their support in the takeover and for all the hard work undertaken by the EUFC team to achieve the requisite acceptance level and to secure the future of the Club.
