It’s a third go for Gozie!

Gozie Ugwu returns to the Kuflink Stadium for the third time in his career after he agreed a permanent deal with the club earlier today.

The 26-year-old striker left Chesterfield in the summer, having spent the last part of the season on loan with the Fleet, during which time he played eight games and scored twice.

He also enjoyed a temporary spell with us under Liam Daish in the 2011/12 season.

Go… go… Gozie. He’s back at the Kuflink Stadium

The 6ft 2in frontman previously played under Fleet boss Garry Hill at Woking in the most prolific period of his career, with his form at Kingfield earning a move into the League with the Spireites.

His return to the Fleet on loan last season saw him quickly endear himself to the home faithful and memorable goals against Maidstone United and Wrexham followed.

The former Reading youngster has also played for Yeovil Town, Dunfermline Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers in his career.
