Hemel Hempstead Town 1-1 Fleet

The unbeaten pre-season schedule was maintained at Vauxhall Road this afternoon, though Fleet’s lead was hauled back by the Tudors in the 76th minute courtesy of former Ebbsfleet trialist Liam Nash.

James Ball’s excellent strike on 38 minutes was created by the man with the eye for goal, Ayo Obileye, who provided the opportunity for the former Stevenage man to wallop home.

Fleet’s second half side saw five new introductions at half-time and then everyone else bar Ball was replaced throughout the remaining 45 minutes with trialists Alfie Egan and Tomi Adeloye seeing 72 and 58 minutes respectively and goalkeeper Harry Palmer enjoying the entire second-half between the nets but he was powerless to prevent Nash squaring things up.

TEAM: Ashmore (Palmer 46), Lawless (Wilson 46), Obileye (King 46), Grimes (Dainkeh 46), Thomas (Shields 46), Weston (Gaoua 72), Egan (Magri 72), Ball, Goddard (Anderson 72), Adeloye (Trialist 58), Ugwu
