Ebbsfleet United are pleased to announce the return of Dave Archer as general manager at the Kuflink Stadium.
Dave departed the club at the end of June after serving a notice period to move to Charlton Athletic Women’s team but now he’s back at his desk in DA11.
Having originally joined the club in 2013, Dave has secured some of the most lucrative sponsorship deals the Fleet have had and he’s already put in place another four-figure deal for this season on his return.
Dave said of his reappearance, “I still very much want to help the ambition of this club and play my part. I want to complete the job I started. Deep down, I realised I never really wanted to leave the Fleet and I have a great relationship with everyone, so it was a wrench. I’d like to thank everyone at Charlton Women’s team for being understanding, I’ve nothing but respect for them and I wish them all the very best. But I realised I had to be honest and admit I’d made a mistake leaving Ebbsfleet and the fairest thing to do for everyone in that situation was admit that.”
