As fans have read elsewhere in relation to Gillingham’s pre-season friendlies being cancelled, our game against them this Saturday, July 17th, has now also been postponed.
A number of Gillingham’s first-team players tested positive for Covid-19 over Sunday and Monday, so those individuals are now self-isolating and the club has cancelled its immediate games for that reason.
The Fleet are currently in discussions with other clubs to replace the fixture with an alternative opponent and we will advise on this as soon as we are able to.
We realise some supporters have purchased advance tickets and as soon as we are able to confirm a game is going ahead or otherwise this Saturday, we will issue information regarding refunds or transfers.
