Fleet’s annual memorial match will take place at our home game against Gateshead on Saturday, March 16th.
The club introduced the memorial match at the beginning of the 2021/22 season following the Covid lockdown, initially as a means to remember all of our supporters, players, staff and families who had passed away during that time.
It has since become an annual reflection to enable all of us in the Fleet family the chance to pay our respects to those who have departed throughout the previous season.
Our matchday programme will once again feature the names of those who have passed away, in addition to all those names submitted to us in previous seasons – and they will also be listed on the scoreboard pre-match and at half-time.
If you wish to submit the name of a loved one, family member or friend for inclusion, please send to ed.miller@eufc.co.uk by Monday, March 11th. Should you wish to also include a photo and short memorial, do feel free to attach with your email.
As on previous occasions, there will also be a silent reflection ahead of kick-off to mark the occasion.
