Fleet travel for FA Cup local derby

The Fleet have been drawn away to Bromley in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The tie at Hayes Lane, Fleet’s fifth away draw in six seasons, will be played on Saturday October 24. The Conference South side are currently 9th in their division and beat the Fleet 1-0 in a pre-season friendly earlier this year.

The two clubs previously met in the 2006 Kent Senior Cup Final, Bromley running out 3-2 winners in extra time.

Last season, the Fleet reached the First Round of the FA Cup, losing 1-0 at Crewe Alexandra. Bromley were eliminated by Hornchurch in the second qualifying round. Bromley have appeared in the First Round only once in the last 12 years, in 2006-07, losing to Gillingham.
