Ebbsfleet United have linked up with Hummel, who will serve as the club’s new kit manufacturer, in a three-year deal from the beginning of the forthcoming 2019/20 season.
The deal encompasses a merchandising agreement that will see Hummel partners Andreas Carter Sports run the entire retail operation on behalf of the club.
Hummel are a global brand responsible for some of the iconic kits of the 1980s and they currently supply a wide range of clubs including Rangers, Charlton Athletic, Middlesbrough, Oldham Athletic, Fleetwood Town and Cambridge United, as well as the Danish national side and hundreds of grassroots teams across the UK and Ireland.
Fleet’s managing director Dave Archer said, “I am delighted to have reached agreement with Hummel on this three-year merchandising agreement. We have been negotiating this for the past few weeks and I’m very pleased that this has now been concluded”.
“The agreement will see Hummel providing our brand new home and away kit for the coming season and will also see their partners Andreas Carter Sports running the retail operation at the club.
“The new home and away strips will be launched on the day of the club’s first home pre-season friendly match against newly promoted Charlton Athletic [on Tuesday, July 16th], who incidentally also wear the Hummel brand and I look forward to working closely with both Jerry Carter and Gary Bright, Head of Hummel Teamsports UK.”
