Fleet paired with Hampton in last qualifying round

Hampton & Richmond Borough stand in the way of Fleet’s Emirates FA Cup First Round ambitions after we were the first ball out of the hat in today’s Fourth Qualifying Round draw.

The two clubs, of course, play in the same division and have already met once this season, when the Beavers won 3-0 on home soil.

This will be the second FA Cup meeting between the sides, Fleet having overcome Hampton via a replay at Stonebridge Road in the First Qualifying Round back in 1994/95.

The only other history in knockout competition between the clubs was the National South play-off semi-finals that Fleet won in 2016/17 and an FA Trophy tie in 1987/88, the Beavers winning that one after a replay.

The match will be played on Saturday, 16th October – it will be an all-pay game with advance online tickets to go on sale shortly.

The winners will pick up £9,375 while the losers will net £3,125.
