FLEET LADIES BEAT HORLEY TOWN TO SECURE LEAGUE TITLE AND PROMOTION…


Ebbsfleet United ladies won the league title courtesy of victory in their final league match for the season. As the new champions of the London & South East Regional Premier Division, the Fleet took the title by two points ahead of rivals Denham United.

The Fleet ladies will compete in the FA South East Women’s Combination League, the third tier of the women’s football pyramid, in 2009-10. That division currently includes Tottenham, Luton Town, Norwich City, Northampton Town and Gillingham.

The must-win game for the title came with a trip to in-form Horley Town and the Fleet triumphed 4-1 to record their 15th win in 18 games.
