Fleet keeper Welch in Bromley loan move

Ebbsfleet United goalkeeper Joe Welch has today moved on loan to Bromley. The one-month loan period runs from January 12 to February 11 and the club has inserted a 24-hour recall clause in the agreement in case of emergencies.

This will give Joe the opportunity to play regular first-team football which has been hard to come by at Stonebridge Road.

Joe signed in the summer after spells at Histon and Stevenage. He played in the first two games of the season before Preston Edwards’ recovery from injury.

The club apologises if this news has leaked via other sources but it is policy not to release any details until the paperwork has been agreed and signed, which happened at 14.15 today.
