Fleet head to York in Trophy last 16

Ebbsfleet United’s reward for beating Chester is a trip to York City in Round 3 of the FA Trophy. The tie will take place on Saturday, February 4.

It will mark a quick return to Bootham Crescent for midfielder Neil Barrett (pictured) who left the Minstermen in the summer – he has played at Wembley for both clubs in an FA Trophy Final. It will also be the Fleet’s second trip to York in the space of three weeks as our league clash takes place this coming Saturday.

Ebbsfleet met York on the opening day of the season, going down 2-1 to a late couple of goals. We have played at the Bootham Crescent six times, winning twice, drawing once and losing three times.
