Fleet go the extra Myles

It was an early-morning start for the club’s latest signing this morning as Myles Weston agreed a new deal at the Kuflink Stadium, to embark on his third season in a Fleet shirt.

The 31-year-old winger first signed in summer 2017 from Wycombe Wanderers and has played 92 games since then for the Fleet, scoring the most memorable of his six goals for the club in the 2018 play-off semi-final at Tranmere Rovers.

The Antigua & Barbuda international was offered terms as part of an option on an extended contract at the end of last season and we are delighted agreement has now been reached.

Myles Weston will run out of the Fleet tunnel once more in 2019/20

Immediately following signing this morning, Myles departed for pre-season training at K Sports, where he will form part of the squad turning out in a friendly there this Saturday.

Myles has more than 320 Football League appearances to his name in a career that has taken in Notts County (where he was player of the year in 2009), Brentford, Gillingham and Southend United and he also turned out for England at youth level.
