Fleet eye Iffy as attacking intent adds up

Ebbsfleet United today announce latest signing Iffy Allen who departs near neighbours Maidstone United.

The winger, 26, scored six goals for the Stones last season having played 22 times in their National League South campaign and contributed in a run to the FA Cup Second Round.

The South Londoner has Football League experience with Barnet and Yeovil Town, having left Fulham as a youngster, and spent three seasons in the National League with Torquay United, Aldershot Town, Wrexham, Bromley and Braintree Town.

A quick and direct wide man, Allen also had spells at Wealdstone and Dulwich Hamlet before signing for John Still and his former Braintree manager Hakan Hayrettin at Maidstone at the beginning of last season.

He also turned out for Kingstonian and Redhill on loan from Barnet in his formative years.

Allen told EUFC.co.uk on signing, “Going by what I’ve seen so far, it’s certainly an attacking squad with a lot of players able to adapt and it looks like Ebbsfleet are trying to bounce back up to where they should be.”

If you would like to sponsor Iffy for the season or confirm your choice of any of our new signings, please call 01474 533796 or email info@eufc.co.uk.
