The registration of Fleet midfielder Giannoulis ‘Cesc’ Fakinos has been cancelled by mutual consent and the player has now joined Welling United.
The club would like to thank Cesc for his professionalism and service during his time with us and wish him all the best for the future.
Having arrived towards the tail-end of Fleet’s promotion push in 2010-11, Cesc played a brief but instrumental part in the success that season, memorably setting up Calum Willock’s match-clinching goal in the play-off final. He went on to make a handful of Premier division appearances before an injury curtailed his Fleet career.
In all, the Greek midfielder played 21 times for the club.
