Ebbsfleet United can announce a fourth home game in our pre-season campaign, with Southend United the visitors to Stonebridge Road on Saturday, July 22nd.
The Shrimpers, who missed out on the League One play-offs by a single point, are added to a pre-season programme that includes Tottenham Hotspur, Cambridge United and AFC Wimbledon.
Managed by former Hull City boss Phil Brown, Southend are a former club of Fleet defender Mark Phillips and include in their squad players such as Marc-Antoine Fortuné (Celtic, West Brom) and Anton Ferdinand (West Ham, Sunderland).
Fleet’s first away friendly of pre-season has also been confirmed, with Daryl McMahon’s side visiting Tonbridge Angels on July 11th.
