Fleet fans not entirely excited by the second qualifying round draw at Chelmsford City will be equally familiar with their prospective opponents for the third stage after the FA Cup draw this morning.
The winners of the Fleet-Chelmsford replay on Tuesday night will play away at Basingstoke Town, who of course not only knocked us out of the FA Cup at the same stage last season, but beat us on all three occasions we met last year. Fleet gained revenge in a 1-0 win in the league earlier this season. That cup tie, should we progress, will take place on Saturday 10th October.
Meanwhile, prices for tomorrow night’s replay are £11 adults, £9 concessions, £5 juniors and £1 for U12s. The fixture is ‘all pay’ so season tickets cannot be used.
